Udgiveren Sega har netop annonceret at de opkøbt den franske udvikler Amplitude. Studiet er blandt andet kendt for spilserien Endless med titler såsom Endless Space, Endless Legend, og Dungeon of the Endless. Ifølge Sega Europe Ltd's President og COO Jurgen Post (via GamesIndustry) vil dette træk styrke firmaets stilling på PC spilmarkedet og Amplitude vil slutte sig til de andre udviklere eget af Sega såsom Creative Assembly, Sports Interactive og Relic Entertainment.
