I den seneste udgave af det japanske spilmagasin Nintendo Dream fortæller Nintendo endelig mere om hvorfor de valgte navnet Switch til deres næste konsol. Det lader til at navnet bær en anden mening, udover at du kan "switch" imellem skærme:
"We decided that this name would be the best fit for our product for two reasons. It represents one of the defining features of the Switch, the ability to seamlessly 'switch' between the TV screen and Switch's screen, while also embodying the idea of being a 'switch' that will flip, and change the way people experience entertainment in their daily lives."
Nintendo er dog fortsat stille om konsollen, men en begivenhed vil finde sted d. 12 januar, og det kan du læse alt om på Gamereactor.
