Crytek har valgt at rekonstruere hele deres virksomhed, og har derfor valgt at styre en stor del af deres ansatte.
Oven på flere rygter om at firmaet har været i finansielle problemer længe, så har Crytek afsløret, at de lukker hele fem af deres studier ned. Dette inkluderer studier i Bulgarien, Kina, Ungarn, Sydkorea og Tyrkiet. Dette efterlader bare to studier, nemlig Frankfurt og Kiev.
