PlayStation 4 Pro har gjort sig selv bemærket ved at tilbyde mere grafisk avancerede udgaver af nye og eksisterende spil, og flere har da også tilbudt en flydende 60fps-oplevelse. Destiny 2 bliver dog ikke iblandt disse spil, for ifølge Bungie er maskinen simpelthen ikke kraftfuld nok.
I et nyt interview fortæller Bungies Luke Smith og Mark Noseworthy at spillet simpelthen er for avanceret til at køre i 60fps på PS4 Pro.
'"The console, the PS4 Pro is super powerful, but it couldn't run our game at 60. Our game's this rich physics simulation where collision of players, networking, etc, and like, it wouldn't run... [there's] not enough horsepower there."
