Michael Pachter er måske mere en reality-udgave af en rigtig analytiker i disse dage, men det forhindrer ikke hans udtalelser i at have reel indflydelse i branchen. Den seneste sag han har kastet sin opmærksomhed på for nylig er Xbox One X, og om hvorvidt konsollen kan få succes på markedet med sin højere pris.
Her er Pachters holdning nemlig ganske klar - det kan den virkelig ikke.
Pachter har ved en række lejligheder udtrykt sin skepsis overfor produktet, og for nylig har han endnu en gang slået fast i et interview med GamingBolt, at prisen simpelthen er for høj:
"So I think $500 is a lot, and I think we've been trained since at least the PlayStation, and probably since before then - I don't actually remember what the NES was at launch - that $300 is the price point people are willing to pay"

Det lader altså til at Pachter mener at Xbox One X kan være en fornuftig investering på et tidspunkt på grund af den overlegne teknologi, men at lige nu er den for dyr. Er du enig?
