Det at finde ud af hvilken platform man skal eje et spil på er allerede svært nok i forvejen, og snart bliver det endnu sværere med introduktionen af Xbox One X. Spiludviklere skal nu finde ud af hvilke platforme de skal optimere til, men allerede nu har Microsofts platfom en fordel - Project Cars 2 kommer nemlig til at se markant bedre ud der end på PlayStation 4 Pro.
Slightly Mad Studios' chef, Stephen Viljoen, har bekræftet i et interview med Trusted Reviews at Xbox One X-versionen er overlegen overfor "alt andet" udover en dyr PC:
"Obviously we can't go everything ultra, because on PC you can run it on three 4K monitors, and everything set to absolutely incredible detail, which is simply not possible on [this] generation of consoles. The Xbox One X is a great piece of hardware and we're very excited for it and we're making the most of it, so when you run the game on it, it will certainly look better than if you're running it on anything else, other than a high end PC. But even so you can only do so much."
