• Epic Star Cards, the highest tier of Star Cards available at launch, will no longer be available in the loot boxes. The developers hope that this will help keep everyone on a somewhat level playing field. These Epic Star Cards will now primarily be available through crafting, with the exception of special Epic Star Cards available through pre-order, deluxe, and starter packs.

• As indicated last time, we'll need to reach a certain rank to craft upgraded Star Cards. This means that we won't be able to buy a bunch of boxes, grind everything up into crafting materials, and immediately use them to get extremely powerful Star Cards. We'll only be able to upgrade the ability to craft higher tier Star Cards by ranking up through playing the game.

• Most weapons will be locked behind specific milestones, with only a select few being available in loot boxes.

• Speaking of weapons, class-specific gear and items can be unlocked by playing as the respective classes. Progress far enough to reach a milestone and you'll be rewarded with a class-specific loot box. These will include a mix of Star Cards and Crafting Parts to benefit your class' development.
