Det amerikanske studie Hangar 13, som stod bag udviklingen af 2016s Mafia III, er igang med en større omstrukturering og har derfor drastisk reduceret antallet af medarbejdere. Præcis hvor mange ansatte vi taler om er usikkert, men studiet har haft følgende kommentar.
"2K can confirm that there have been staff reductions at Hangars 13 in order to ensure that the studio's resources are properly aligned with its long-term development plans."
"These reductions will not influence 2K's ability to create ans deliver its products that are currently in development. We never take these matters lightly, and more working with the affected employees to support them and explore potential opportunities throughout our organization."
Studiet er i fuld gang med deres næste projekt og vi må håbe det ikke påvirker udviklingen for meget. Mafia III solgte over alt forventning, hvilket gør situationen endnu mere pudsig.
