Ubisoft kan her til morgen meddele at Splinter Cell Chaos får nogle solide toner at læne sig op ad. Udvikleren har nemlig underskrevet en aftale med Amon Tobin, en af de kendte elektroniske kunstnere på pladeselskabet Ninja Tune. Tobins musik vil kunne nydes gennem hele spillet og Ninja Tune vil så efterfølgende udsende en remixet og remastered udgave gennem selskabet.
Tony Keem der er vice præsident for marketing hos Ubisoft sagde følgende:
"Music and sounds have always been an extremely important aspect of Splinter Cell games, and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory will use both in innovative ways that enhance the sense of immersion and directly affect gameplay. Ubisoft always seeks out creative collaborators of the highest quality, and Amon Tobin's moody, genre-bending, cutting-edge music is the perfect fit for Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory."
Amon Tobin knyttede følgende kommentar til annonceringen:
"It quickly became clear that Ubisoft was interested in music that completely intertwined with the overall fabric of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory to an extent that has not been heard before in video games - the development team members are true perfectionists, and we labored meticulously over every aspect of the sound design. No concessions were made that would compromise the integrity of the soundtrack, and that's rare in a project of this scale."
Spillet står til udgivelse i slutningen af året på Xbox og Pc.
