Super Smash Bros Ultimate løb med størstedelen af opmærksomheden ved Nintendos E3 konference, hvilket ikke gav meget plads til andre spil. Et af de spil - som vi havde håbet på at se - var Metroid Prime 4. Det blev annonceret med et logo sidste år, men forblev væk fra E3 i år.
Dette har fået mange fans til at frygte for spillets produktion, og nu har Nintendos egen Reggie Fils-Aimé set sig nødsaget til at kommentere på fraværet, hvilket han gør i et interview med Game Informer:
"Last year was important to us to message to the Metroid fan that there was a Metroid Prime experience in development, as we showed Metroid: Samus Returns for the 3DS. We didn't want that fan to say "You just launched a new system, when are you going to bring me a Metroid on that platform?" We said it was coming. This year, with so many games launching effectively between [now] and the first half of next year, we wanted to focus on those games. Rest assured, Metroid Prime 4 is still in development and proceeding well."
Måske kan vi få et glimt af det til Gamescom. Man har vel lov at håbe.
