Siden Platinum Games tilbage i september sidste år fortalte at udviklingen af Bayonetta 3 gik godt, har vi ikke hørt meget nyt om spillet, men i den seneste udgave af den officielle Nintendo Power podcast antydede Bill Trinen, der er Nintendo of Americas senior product marketing manager, at Bayonetta 3 kan komme tidligere end forventet.
Som gamingbolt.com reporterer, faldt snakken i podcasten på Platinum Games nye spil Astral Chain, der blev afsløret ved den seneste Nintendo Direct, og det var her at Bill Trinen også kom ind på et andet spil fra Paltinum Games; Bayonetta 3.
"This is what I think is so great about the partnership between Nintendo and Platinum Games. Because to me, I look at [Astral Chain] and I see the kind of intense action game that historically you haven't seen a lot of on Nintendo platforms. With this collaboration with Platinum Games, being able to bring stuff like that... and knowing that they mentioned, of course, Bayonetta 3, [which is] still in the works, it really helps to round out the library overall of what's available on Switch."
"And of course, that's another game that's maybe coming a little bit sooner than people anticipated, later this year," sagde Bill Trinen.
Bayonetta 2s director Yusuke Hashimoto har lige forladt Platinum Games, men om det har nogen påvirkning på udgivelsen af Bayonetta 3 ved vi ikke på nuværende tidspunkt.
