Det var efterhånden kun et spørgsmål om tid, før Netflix lukkede den resterende del af deres samarbejde med Marvel. Den tid er kommet nu, hvor streamingtjenesten officielt aflyser serierne Jessica Jones og The Punisher. Det skriver deadline.com.
Om 'The Punisher', der altså ikke får en tredje sæson, udtaler en talsmand fra Netflix til deadline.com:

Vi kommer dog til at se en tredje sæson af Jessica Jones-serien, der har Krysten Ritter i hovedrollen, men efter det vil altså også markerer afslutningen på Netflixs Marvel-serier.

Marvels tv-afdeling har også udsendt en pressemedelelse i kølvandet på de nye aflysninger.
