Under årets E3-messe fik messegæsterne muligheden for at stifte bekendtskab med Bioshock 2, der i øjeblikket er under udarbejdelse hos 2K Marin. I samme moment udsendte 2K Games en pressemeddelelse, der omhandlede de multiplayermæssige aspekter af spillet. Multiplayer Features:
