Death Stranding er ikke engang udkommet endnu, men allerede nu tænker den travle skaber bag, Hideo Kojima, på hans næste spilprojekt, som vi endnu ikke ved om er en direkte efterfølger til spillet, eller noget helt nyt.
I et interview med hollandske Gamer.nl (oversat af ResetEra) fortæller Kojima, at han allerede er i gang med at tænke over hvordan hans næste spil skal se ud.
"I've been walking around thinking about a future project for a while now. But that doesn't mean that these aren't stressful times. Even though I embrace that stress, its sometimes quite painful, like the contractions when giving birth. But the past four years were probably worse, as now I know it'll be over soon. At the same time I'm watching it all from a distance and enjoying myself."
En karakteristisk bizar udtalelse naturligvis, men det vides faktisk ikke overhovedet hvordan Kojima Productions kommer til at operere i fremtiden, om hvorvidt de forbliver uden fast udgiver og om de fremadrettet vil lave flere Death Stranding-spil.
