Det kom som lidt af en overraskelse da Ubisoft for kort tid siden, kunne fortælle at Patrice Désilets indtil videre havde valgt at sige stop hos spilgiganten. Nu fortæller Ubisofts Jean-Francois Boivin til CVG, at Désilets simpelthen blot havde brug for en pause.
I totally got where he was coming from because he's been talking about taking a break for a long time... Right now he's watching the World Cup, and if you were to talk to him he'll say 'Yeah, I'm watching the World Cup, I'm going to the park with my daughter, maybe take a nap or read a book, and yeah, that's it'. That's all he's doing."
Til spørgsmålet om hvorvidt Désilets vil vende tilbage til Ubisoft, eller måske endda branchen som helhed var Boivin dog usikker:
"I don't know...he doesn't even know himself."
