Så hvordan gik det? Ja, årets uddeling blev afholdt for nylig, og her er de to store vindere Sam Mendes' 1917, der vandt Best Motion Picture for Drama, og Quentin Tarantinos Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, der vandt Best Motion Picture award for Musical or Comedy.
Desuden vandt Sam Mendes Best Director, der positionerer ham og hans film ganske glimrende inden Oscar-uddelingen. Desuden vandt Joaquin Phoenix for sin rolle i Joker, og Renée Zellweger vandt for sin rolle i Judy.
