Overfør GW1 til Guild Wars 2
I dag blev der annonceret yderligere detaljer om Guild Wars 2, denne gang i form af en ganske interessant mulighed. Selvom Guild Wars 2 finder sted 250 år senere, vil dine handlinger i Guild Wars 1 muligvis have udløst belønninger, der kan indløses i Guild Wars 2.
Alt dette sker ved hjælp af den såkaldte Hall of Monuments Rewards Calculator. Således vil du kunne få glæde af nogle af dine bedrifter fra Eye of the North, the original Guild Wars, Guild Wars Factions og Guild Wars Nightfall.
Belønningerne kan både være light, medium eller heavy armor sets, nye kældedyr/companions, miniatures, nye våben eller specielle titler.
Alle disse er såkaldte starter-items, så du vil kunne bruge dem allerede fra begyndelsen af Guild Wars 2. Naturligvis kan du samtidig dele dine tidligere bedrifter direkte på de sociale netværkssider som Twitter og Facebook.
Er du stadig ikke helt med på systemet, forklarer udvikleren det således:
Let's say your main character was a ranger named Mira Verde who adventured all across Tyria with her trusty moa companion in the original Guild Wars and Guild Wars: Eye of the North. Mira Verde has earned points in the five different monument categories (Devotion, Fellowship, Honor, Resilience, and Valor). Now let's say you also played an assassin in Guild Wars Factions named Mister Stabby that earned some additional statues from the Honor monument that Mira Verde hasn't earned.
When you enter either Mira Verde or Mister Stabby's names into the Hall of Monuments Reward Calculator you'll see a cumulative total of the reward points on your account, regardless of which character earned them. If Mira Verde earned you 12 points, and Mister Stabby earned you 3, then you would have 15 points total, which earns you all the rewards from 1-15 on the reward track in Guild Wars 2. The Reward Calculator also gives you a detailed breakdown in all categories of which monuments your characters haven't earned yet, so you can have your characters tackle certain challenges and add to your cumulative reward points!
