Kotaku-journalist har tidligere slået fast, at hvorimod spil som Doom Eternal, Animal Crossing: New Horizons og Final Fantasy VII: Remake udkommer uden direkte påvirkning af Coronavirusudbrudet, så kan samme sikkerhed ikke gives for at spil der udkommer i maj og derefter.
Alligevel har Sony lige valgt at give os en opdatering via PlayStation Blog, hvor de slår fast at indtil videre, så er der ikke udsigt til en forsinkelse af hverken The Last of Us: Part II eller Ghost of Tsushima.
"Sony estimates that there will be no material impact on this business for the current fiscal year. Although no issues have emerged so far, Sony is carefully monitoring the risk of delays in production schedules for game software titles at both its first-party studios and partner studios, primarily in Europe and the U.S."
