Gamesindustry skriver i dag at analysefirmaet Wedbush Morgen mener at Nintendo har været alt for lang tid om at præsentere en ny konsol, altså den vi nu kender som Wii U. Det lyder således fra Michael Pachter, Edward Woo og Nick McKay:
"We think that Wii U is arriving two years late, given that the other HD consoles already have peripherals for movemen. As Nintendo did not provide any specifics around the new console's power or pricing, we are assuming that the Wii U is unlikely to provide greater power than the current HD consoles."
"If that is the case, we believe Nintendo has conceded a tremendous first mover advantage to Microsoft and Sony, which launched Kinect and Move control schemes, respectively, in late 2010."
Specielt Michael Pachter har flere gange tidligere udtalt at han mente Nintendo for længst burde have lanceret en HD-konsol, og nu lyder det altså som om han synes det er for sent. Tror du på Wii U?
