Sagen imellem Ray Fisher, der i Justice League spillede Cyborg, og Warner Bros. og DC Films-ledelsen er en lang og grim en. Han startede med at anklage en række ledere for at køre en usund arbejdsplads imens der blev optaget ekstra scener til Josh Whedons version af Justice League, og sagen er kun vokset sig større af at Warner Bros. har kørt en intern efterforskning, som ikke har medført nogen offentlig udskældning eller konsekvenser.
Den dårlige kommunikation imellem de to parter, som i øvrigt har været offentlig i brede træk, er nu nået det punkt, hvor Cyborg er blevet fjernet fra The Flash-filmen, hvor Fisher skulle være med.
I en besked på Twitter siger Fisher, at efter hans offentlige anklager af DC Films-præsidenten Walter Hamada, så er han blevet fjernet fra The Flash, og dermed er han officielt færdig som Cyborg.
"I have received official confirmation that Warner Bros. Pictures has decided to remove me from the cast of The Flash. I strongle disagree with their decision, but it is one that is unsurprising. Despite the misconception, Cyborg's involvement in The Flashwas much larger than a cameo - and while I do mourn the lost opportunity to bring Victor Stone back to the screen, bringing awareness to the actions of Walter Hamada will prove to be a much more important contribution to our world."
I en meddelelse til Variety siger Warner følgende:
"Last summer, Mr. Fisher was offered the opportunity to reprise his role as Cyborg in The Flash. Given his statement that he will not participate in any film associated with Mr. Hamada, our production is now moving on. Warner Bros. remains in business with Geoff Johns who continues to produce Stargirl, Batwoman, Doom Patrol, Superman & Lois, and Titans for the studio, among other projects."
