PlayStation 5 Slim faceplates passer ikke på PS5 Pro

Hvis du har købt nye faceplates til din PlayStation 5 Slim, men nu ønsker at opgradere til en PlayStation 5 Pro, så kommer disse faceplates altså ikke til at passe.

Dette blev først testet af en bruger på Reddit der har tilgået en PS5 Pro inden den officielle lancering om en lille uges tid:

"I had some Cobalt blue plates so I decided to try them out on the Pro and I can confirm the bottom plates match the Slim. However the top plates do not match because while they're physically the same size, the teeth that connect to the system are [in] slightly different places. So you can't connect the top part. I'm only telling you all this, so y'all know and don't bother ordering plates for the Slim to use on the Pro."

Pro og Slim ligner ellers hinanden tildels, i hvert fald så meget at mange troede at faceplates kunne matche, men sådan forholder det sig ikke. Ydermere er dette blevet bekræftet af Sony i en besked til IGN:

"PS5 console covers are not compatible with PS5 Pro".
