Nintendo America-bossen Reggie Fils-Aime har ikke meget mere end et skuldertræk til overs for PlayStation 4 og Xbox Ones line-up af lanceringstitler. Det fortæller han ifølge My Nintendo News.
"The competitive systems have announced their launch lineups. I'm allowed to say ‘Meh.' I look at our lineup of titles and I feel good about our lineup. We've got Zelda. We've got Mario. We've got Donkey Kong. In addition to great titles like Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101, I feel very good about our lineup....And so I think as you compare and contrast Nintendo with other players in the space, for us it's about games, about the fun, about the entertainment value, and not about the tech."
Vi antager at Fils-Aime hentyder til førstepartstitlerne, da mange af de øvrige lanceringstitler til PS4 og Xbox One også kommer til Wii U. Med titler som Battlefield 4, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Call of Duty: Ghosts og Watch Dogs kan Microsoft og Sony måske godt slippe afsted med en "meh" række af egne titler som Dead Rising 3, Forza Motorsport 5 og Ryse: Son of Rome til Xbox One, og Killzone: Shadow Fall, Driveclub, Resogun og Knack til PS4.
