Atari har afsløret, at Rollercoaster Tycoom World vil udkomme via Steam Early Access i dag, med en masse indhold parat til spillere. Ideen er at tilføje mere indhold løbende, og samtidig lytte til feedback fra fans.

The Early Access version will launch with 3 modes - Campaign, Scenarios and Sandbox - but these aren't fully tweaked or necessarily complete. Furthermore you'll get to play around with "10 different types of coasters (all complete with ride cams), over 30 different flat rides, 4 different themes (sci-fi, adventure, generic, and adventure), a full (albeit not fully balanced) simulation, park operations, stalls/shops/bathrooms/info booths, a terrain editor, basic water, and of course an amazing User Generated Content System with FULL Steam Workshop Support". fortæller Atari.
