Investor Lee Zieben has been linked with a purchase of the Overwatch League side Houston Outlaws, but a new report from The Esports Observer indicates that this has stalled, leading to uncertainty about whether the deal will come to fruition or not.
Immortals Gaming Club has had to sell the Outlaws due to conflict of interest, since they acquired OpTic Gaming's parent company Infinite Esports & Entertainment (who owns Outlaws too).
Reports earlier this year indicated the deal was worth $40 million USD, but this has yet to come to anything, despite being estimated to close in August. The Esports Observer's sources add that the deal has run into problems.
