Rapper Soulja Boy - real name DeAndre Cortez Way - has been in the spotlight of the games media a lot recently, as not only have we heard rumblings of him making his own games console, but now he's revealed in an interview with TMZ that he's planning moves into esports too.
He said he'll start an organisation next year to compete in games like Fortnite and Overwatch, with popular Fortnite streamer Tyler 'Ninja' Blevins allegedly helping him out. The report clarifies that Ninja is apparently a good friend and has taught him a lot about the industry.
"We're gonna be finding talent, hiring talent," he explained, and hopes to create teams for some of the biggest scenes out there.
