The Outer Worlds står til at blive et godt gammeldags rollespil hvor størstedelen af fokusset har været på selve skræddersyningen af oplevelsen til spillerens præferencer. Som bekendt har Obsidian Entertainment tidligere bekræftet at der er flere slutninger, men nu ved vi lidt mere om dem.
I et interview med VideoGameChronicle har Leonard Boyarsky bekræftet, at der er tale om to hovedslutninger, hvoraf der er mange variationer af hver af dem.
"There are two basic paths at the end: whether you sided with Phineas or The Board. That's kind of the first beat of the end: how that played out and what that choice was. After that you get a whole series of slides that talk about the results of your actions and the consequences of the choices you made throughout the whole game."
