Total War: Arena bliver nu udgivet af Wargaming Alliance

Et nyt indlæg på Total War-forummet har afsløret, at Wargaming, SEGA og Creative Assembly har formet et partnerskab, der betyder at Wargaming Alliance vil udgive Total War: Arena.

Wargaming Alliance er en ny udgiver fra Wargaming, og er "dedicated to providing third-party publishers and developers the tools, resources and platform to enter the highly competitive free-to-play gaming market along with access to Wargaming's substantial subscriber base of over 100 million gamers," ifølge forumindlægget.

Total War: Arena vil blande den strategiske stil fra Total War-serien med 10v10-kampe, og alle de involverede parter håber at partnerskabet imellem Creative Assembly og Wargaming vil gøre spillet godt.

I forumindlægget besvarede de nogle af de største spørgsmål omkring Arena, og hvorfor det bliver udgivet af Wargaming Alliance. Svaret var:

"We are very proud of Arena and the unique multiplayer battle experience it offers. The Closed testing last year confirmed the significant potential Arena has. The publishing deal with Wargaming opens the game up to a huge, brand new community and is a strong fit with the game."

De har også svaret på om hvorvidt spillet har ændret sig:

"While the core mechanics remain the same, following user tests and working closely with Wargaming the game's balance, user interface and more have been redesigned and rebuilt to provide players with a better experience. In the time to come, we'll be providing insight on the various changes we've made."
