Creative Assembly har afsløret, at de ikke kan nå den originale udgivelsesdato d. 28 april, og i stedet vil spillet udkomme d. 24 maj. Mike Simpson, der er Creative Director på Total War-serien har tilføjet, at Total War: Warhammer "could be the best Total War game we've ever made. We don't want to rush it."
