It has been revealed that Giants Gaming has benched its coach Ričardas "Boo" Lukaševičius. Boo had been with the team since January earlier this year and had played with them in competitions such as the LVP - Rising Series #2. Within his statement, Boo didn't state an exact reason behind the decision, but he noted that the team "needed a change." The full statement from Boo can be found below:
"Giants VALORANT team needed a change and as a result I was benched from the active roster. I understand the position of Giants and I am thankful for the opportunity they gave me to become a pro player. I always had everything I needed, felt comfortable and was able to focus on playing 100% without any external concerns.
I want to say thank you to pipsoN for literally teaching me how to play the game and how to IGL. Thanks hoody, Meddo, fit1nho, MOLSI, Happy for being good teammates and letting me improve together with you."
