Virtus.Pro's CS:GO team hasn't had the most success in recent months, and now the organisation itself has released a short post revealing that they'll actually be leaving the scene "until further notice," promising to "announce our next steps by the end of the year."

The Faceit Major, finishing fifth at the Blast Pro Series in Istanbul, and Epicenter 2018 were the performances cited by the organisation in the post, not to mention the fact that they couldn't qualify for the next ESL Pro League season.

Roman Dvoryankin, Virtus.pro General manager, commented: "After London Major we were quite optimistic about the potential of the current lineup. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met. The long-term strategy for us is to build a competitive team around young players and we will follow it while making decisions. I'd like to ask our fans to be supportive in the next couple of weeks."

What do you want to see in the future from the players?
