Will Smith taler endelig ud om kontroversielt Oscar-øjeblik

Som du sikkert kan huske, så valgte Will Smith at rejse sig midt under Oscar-showet, og gå op til vært Chris Rock for at give ham en på siden af hovedet, en beslutning der har fået ham bandlyst fra Oscar-showet i en lang periode.

For nylig dukkede han op i The Daily Show med Trevor Noah (via IGN), og talte ud om den beslutning, og hvordan den aften udviklede sig:

"That was a horrific night, as you can imagine. There's many nuances and complexities to it, but at the end of the day, I just, I lost it... You just don't know what's going on with people... And I was going through something that night... Not that that justifies my behavior at all."

Han slår fast at han samtidig har haft problemer med vrede:

"It was a lot of things... It was the little boy that watched his father beat up his mother... All of that just bubbled up in that moment. You know, that's not who I want to be... I was gone... That was a rage that had been bottled for a really long time."

Han siger samtidig at han forstår hvis fans ikke er parate til at støtte hans arbejde endnu.
