Efter at være blevet afsløret under sidste års BlizzCon-messe har Blizzard langt om længe løftet sløret for udgivelsesdatoen på World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth. Via en pressemeddelelse er det blevet afsløret at udvidelsen udkommer d. 14 august.
Det sker i flere udgaver. Der er Standard Edition for €45, Digital Deluxe Edition for €60 og Collector's Edition. Den digitale udgave af spillet indeholder et Seabraid Stallion Mount, et Gilded Ravasaur Mount, et Tottle the Baby Tortollan Pet, kort til Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, et Primal Flamesaber Mount i Heroes of the Storm og nye skins til StarCraft II.
Spillets Collector's Edition indeholder alt det ovenstående, plus dette:
